Craft beer and cocktails are featured at every restaurant we visit in the Twin Cities. The food menus may be short but the list of unique beer and cocktail offerings are overwhelming. Really, how many talented mixologists can there be in one metro area? The answer is a lot.
I don’t even like whisky or beer, yet I’m compelled to pour over drink menus every time to order something random like the Pillow Talk at The Uptown Tavern or a twist on the familiar such as the Minni-Hatten at The Sample Room. This town may be converting me from vodka because next on my date night to-do list – the Robert Mitchum collection of whiskey drinks at Icehouse.
